The Glow Out
Our Cleveland High School Warriors faced off against the Oakland Senior High School Wildcats. Boys Basketball Varsity Assistant, Jazmyn Foster, started The Glow Outs in 2017, and the 2nd annual game was the most spirited game in Cleveland basketball history. The game was extra special because Oakland Senior High is the alma mater of CHS head coach, Dondrale Campbell, our Summer camps director, PJ Taylor, and NBA All-star, Damian Lillard. The 3 attended and played together during their high school years under Coach Orlando Watkins, and as best friends, all moved up to Oregon together after Dame was drafted to the Portland Trail Blazers. The beginning of a new, friendly rivalry between CHS and O-High (Coach Campbell vs his old coach, Coach Watkins) brings amazing energy and is a game you don’t want to miss. Look out for it’s return in the 2019-2020 season!
